On August 1, a meeting of representatives of Khmelnytskyi National University and Bangor University took place within the framework of the “Twinning” program. The project, facilitated by the Cormack Consultancy Group, is aimed at “twinning” a Ukrainian university with a university in the Great Britain of a similar profile, size and with the same specialities. Khmelnytskyi National University has started its active cooperation with Bangor University in Wales, Great Britain.
During the meeting, the head of the Students Council discussed with the Welsh colleagues the possible ways of cooperation between the students of the two universities. A representative of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering presented recent developments and achievements of our scientists and outlined the topics for future joint projects. The head of the Cybersecurity and Computer Systems Department raised the problem of cyberattack threats in Ukraine. The Welsh colleagues have great experience in dealing with this kind of threat and are glad to share their knowledge.
