KhNU Representatives Participated in the 10th International Women’s Business Forum

On June 11, 2026, representatives of Khmelnytskyi National University participated in the 10th International Women’s Business Forum “The Woman Who Shapes the World: From the State to Global Impact,” held in Khmelnytskyi. The forum became one of the largest international events in the region dedicated to leadership, international cooperation, business development, and the role of women in social transformation.

The forum brought together representatives of state authorities and local governments, the diplomatic corps, international organisations, the business community, civil society organisations, educators, and opinion leaders. Key topics included women’s leadership in politics and public administration, international diplomacy, socially responsible business, international partnerships, and the role of women in Ukraine's recovery and development.

Khmelnytskyi National University was represented at the forum by Kateryna Skyba, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and active members of the KhNU Student Council. Participation in events of this level contributes to the development of leadership competencies, the formation of active civic engagement, and the expansion of future professionals' international outlook.

Particular interest was generated by presentations from representatives of the diplomatic corps, including Andon Sapundži, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine, and Andrija Đuranović, First Deputy to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Ukraine. Forum participants had the opportunity to discuss current issues of international cooperation, intercultural dialogue, and the role of diplomacy in strengthening international support for Ukraine.

An important highlight of the event was the participation of representatives of the global Ukrainian community. Especially inspiring was the speech of Yaroslava Khortiani, President of the World Federation of Ukrainian Women's Organisations and Vice President of the Ukrainian World Congress and the European Congress of Ukrainians. She emphasised the importance of international solidarity and the consolidation of the Ukrainian community worldwide.

Special attention during the forum was devoted to the development of women’s entrepreneurship, responsible business practices, the creation of new opportunities for professional growth, and the establishment of partnerships among businesses, government institutions, educational organisations, and civil society groups. The forum served as a powerful platform for sharing experiences, professional networking, and developing new initiatives.

Khmelnytskyi National University expresses its sincere gratitude to the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council and, personally, to the Chair of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, Violeta Oleksandrivna Labaziuk, for the high level of organisation of the forum, support for international dialogue, and the creation of an effective platform for cooperation among representatives of government, business, diplomatic institutions, civil society organisations, and higher education institutions.

Participation in such events aligns with KhNU’s strategic commitment to developing international relations, expanding partnerships, and actively engaging students in the international educational and professional environment.
