We would like to share an initiative from our colleagues at the University of Bialystok, who have created a Polish-English-Ukrainian dictionary of specialized terminology in the fields of engineering, technical sciences, and social sciences. It is likely that two more volumes will be released this year.
As a result of one of the events held within the Laboratory of Didactic Innovations, which was established as part of the implementation of the "University Didactic Excellence" project in 2022-2023, the staff of the University of Bialystok developed a Polish-English-Ukrainian textbook/dictionary of terms. The dictionary was created thanks to their dedication and efforts. Employees representing all faculties of the University of Bialystok compiled a list of the most commonly used words with references to specific scientific disciplines, providing a sort of canon for easier use within the university community, especially for students studying foreign languages.
