On August 1, a meeting of representatives of Khmelnytskyi National University and Bangor University took place within the framework of the Twinning program. The project, facilitated by the Cormack Consultancy Group, is aimed at twinning a Ukrainian university with a university in the UK of a similar profile, size and with the same specialities. Khmelnytskyi National University has started its active cooperation with Bangor University in Wales, the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the head of the Students Council discussed with the Welsh colleagues the possible ways of cooperation between the students of the two universities. A representative of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering presented recent developments and achievements of KhNU scientists and outlined the topics for future joint projects. The head of the Cybersecurity and Computer Systems Department raised the problem of cyberattack threats in Ukraine. The Welsh colleagues have great experience in dealing with this kind of threat and are glad to share their knowledge.
