Liudmyla Remishevska, Head of the International Relations Office of Khmelnytskyi National University, participated in International Week 2026, held at Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic), which brought together representatives of higher education institutions from around the world. International Week traditionally serves as an important platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and expansion of international cooperation between universities. Participation in such events contributes not only to presenting the university on the international stage but also to developing new approaches to advancing educational and scientific activities.

The event program was extensive and diverse, including panel discussions, thematic workshops, working meetings with faculty representatives, and intercultural activities. The main focus was placed on discussing current global challenges, the role of universities in overcoming them, and the search for effective managerial and educational solutions in the context of international cooperation.
Particular interest was generated by thematic workshops on interaction across different levels of governance, the implementation of educational innovations, and the development of regional approaches to solving global problems. Participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the European experience in educational policy and management, which is important for the further implementation of modern practices in university activities.

Within the framework of the event, the activities of Khmelnytskyi National University, its educational and scientific areas, as well as key achievements in the field of internationalization were presented. During communication with foreign colleagues, special attention was paid to the development of academic mobility, expansion of partnership relations, and implementation of joint educational and scientific projects.
An important component of International Week 2026 was networking activities, which created favourable conditions for establishing new professional contacts and deepening cooperation with foreign higher education institutions. During the meetings, participants discussed prospects for cooperation within the Erasmus+ program, opportunities for student and staff exchanges, and participation in joint international initiatives and projects.

Participation in International Week 2026 contributed to increasing the level of international activity of Khmelnytskyi National University, expanding its network of partners, and exchanging best practices in the field of higher education. The experience gained is important for further improving the university’s international activities.
