KhNU in the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026

On 24 June 2026, Khmelnytskyi National University was included in the global Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, placing in the 1001–1500 band.

Compared with the previous year, KhNU has made notable progress: the University moved from the 1501+ band to the 1001–1500 range. This demonstrates positive momentum and the University’s consistent efforts in sustainable development, education, research, and international cooperation.

Participation in the ranking reflects KhNU’s commitment to developing high-quality education, research activities, partnerships, and initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Placement in the 1001–1500 band means that the University has joined the international community of higher education institutions assessed according to their contribution to achieving these goals.

Khmelnytskyi National University also achieved the following positions in individual categories:

  • 401–600 — Affordable and Clean Energy;
  • 601–800 — Good Health and Well-being and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions;
  • 1001+ — Quality Education;
  • 1001–1500 — Partnerships for the Goals.

Ukraine is represented in the ranking by 55 higher education institutions. We are proud that KhNU is among the universities shaping Ukraine’s modern educational and research landscape and making its presence known internationally.

There is still much work ahead, along with new projects and ambitious goals. At the same time, this result already motivates the University community to move forward, strengthen its position, and further develop Khmelnytskyi National University as a competitive higher education institution.
