Erasmus+ Without Borders: Academic Mobility of an HNU Student in Poland

International academic mobility offers our university students new opportunities for education, professional development, and cultural exchange. One of the participants in the Erasmus+ programme is Sofiia Mahlona, a student in group KI2-23-1, currently studying at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland.

She shares her impressions of participating in the programme as follows:

“My experience of participating in the Erasmus+ programme at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice has been extremely positive and has even exceeded my expectations.

he city itself is very charming and comfortable for student life. The university is truly of a high standard, particularly in the field of information technology. I really appreciate that classes are held in modern classrooms with excellent equipment, and laboratory work provides genuine practical skills. The lecturers are competent and approachable, making communication with them easy.

A particularly valuable part of this experience for me has been the international environment. I study alongside students from different countries and communicate daily in both English and Polish, which is excellent practice and a major advantage for personal and professional growth. Erasmus+ has also given me the opportunity to meet many interesting people from all over the world and make new friends.
Також Erasmus дав мені можливість познайомитися з багатьма цікавими людьми з усього світу і знайти нових друзів.

Overall, I am very happy that I decided to take part in academic mobility through the Erasmus+ programme.”

At present, the student continues her studies abroad, successfully gaining new knowledge and international experience, and representing our university with distinction on the international stage.

We are proud of her achievements, wish her continued success, and eagerly look forward to her return to her home university.
