Lesia Brel, a lecturer at the Department of Ecology and Biological Education, participated in the Sister Cities Meeting held in Stuttgart, Germany, from November 27 to 29, 2024. The event focused on climate adaptation, energy, and sustainable development.

During her visit, Lesia Brel had the opportunity to listen to presentations by international speakers on reducing CO₂ emissions, advancing sustainable energy, and exploring innovative solutions in climate adaptation.
The meeting also centred on water resource management and urban ecology. Group discussions addressed topics such as heat risks, blue-green infrastructure, and spatial planning. Lesia Brel contributed to these discussions by presenting the unique features of blue-green infrastructure in Khmelnytskyi.

The event concluded with the ceremonial unveiling of a signpostattended by representatives from Stuttgart City Hall.
This meeting marked another significant step in fostering international cooperation between sister cities.
