Participation of the Deputy Dean for Research and International Work of the Faculty of Information Technologies, Professor Serhiy Lysenko, in International Mobility at Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic)

Professor Serhiy Lysenko, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies for Research and International Work, participated in the international mobility program under the ERASMUS+ KA171 Mobility Project for Higher Education Students and Staff from October 20 to 24, 2025, at Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic.

Mobility Outcomes:

  • Teaching mobility (STA) was implemented to deliver academic courses, aiming to enhance the quality of teaching and ensure alignment with international educational standards.
  • A scientific seminar was held for the teaching staff of the Department of Informatics.
  • Academic and research ties between the universities were strengthened.
  • Training Mobility (STT) was completed to enhance the professional skills of the teaching staff, with a focus on familiarisation with innovative approaches to teaching and research.
  • Experience exchange took place with colleagues from other countries, improving organisational and intercultural competencies.
  • A meeting was held with students from the specialisms "Computer Engineering and Programming" (Mamontova M., Ilchyshyna Yu., Shvaiko V.) and "Information Systems and Technologies" (Zhyłkova V.), who are undertaking their semester-long international mobility at Mendel University in Brno.
  • A seminar on robotic tools was attended.

Within the framework of the mobility, international links were also established with the European Research University in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Participation also included a meeting with the engineering staff and an introduction to the operational specificities of the supercomputer and quantum computer at the National Supercomputing Centre at VSB, Technical University of Ostrava.

The overall experience gained will be implemented into the educational process.
