On August 22, 2024, Liudmyla Remishevska, Head of the International Relations Department of Khmelnytskyi National University, and Anastasiia Zarzhytska, Specialist of the International Relations Department, took part in the All-Ukrainian Seminar "Erasmus+ Opportunities for Higher Education Institutions". Together with them, the event was attended by more than 20 representatives of Ukrainian higher education institutions, namely: Kyiv International University, Lviv University of Trade and Economics, Mykola Gogol Nizhyn State University, National Technical University of Ukraine “Dnipro Polytechnic”, Rivne State Humanitarian University, Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav, Kherson State Maritime Academy and Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State University. The event was held at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University with the participation of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.
The seminar began with a welcoming speech by Volodymyr Mykolayko, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development of Pavlo Tychyna Ukrainian State Pedagogical University. He noted that the Erasmus+ program opens up great opportunities for Ukrainian universities, particularly in the area of academic mobility and the implementation of joint educational and research projects.
The main speaker of the event was Svitlana Shytykova, coordinator of the EU project “National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine”. She presented the updated opportunities of the Erasmus+ program for Ukrainian higher education institutions. Svitlana Shytykova focused on the key areas of the program, including the development of academic mobility, support for innovation and digital technologies in education, and strengthening the internationalization of universities.
Kateryna Ilnytska, Head of the International Relations Department at Pavlo Tychyna Ukrainian State Pedagogical University, presented successful projects implemented by the university as part of the Erasmus+ program.
The seminar was an important event for the participants, giving them the opportunity to share experiences, discuss new opportunities and challenges of the Erasmus+ program, and strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian universities in international projects.
