The second annual discussion platform, 'The Power of Women's Leadership,' organised on the initiative of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast Council, took place in Khmelnytskyi. The event gathered over 200 active women from all over Ukraine – renowned experts, military personnel, wives and mothers of Heroes, deputies, heads of communal institutions, representatives of education, healthcare, local self-government bodies, public organisations, and business.
The forum's goal was to create an open platform for discussing the role of women in modern society, their contribution to social change, the development of leadership potential, the support of women's entrepreneurship, and the expansion of professional opportunities during wartime.
Representatives of Khmelnytskyi National University took part in the forum: Kateryna Skyba, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Work; Tetiana Hovorushchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies; Olha Pavlova, Head of the Department of Computer, Intellectual and Information Systems; Yevheniia Shelest, Associate Professor of the Department of HR Engineering in Business Economics; Liudmyla Remishevska, Head of the International Relations Department; and Olha Paraska, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

During the forum, two panel discussions were held, dedicated to international opportunities for supporting women leaders and the all-Ukrainian dimension of women's leadership. The speakers shared success stories, professional development tools, and experiences in overcoming challenges during the war, as well as the formation of a new culture of women's leadership in Ukraine.
Violeta Labaziuk, Head of the Oblast Council, welcomed the participants and emphasised that the modern Ukrainian woman is an example of strength, resilience, and responsibility. Such meetings help unite leaders to exchange experiences and jointly search for solutions. She also mentioned the prominent figure Sofia Rusova as a symbol of feminine wisdom, enlightenment, and service to society.

The forum became a communication space for inspiration, partnership, and mutual support. The participants concluded that women are currently playing a key role in community development, education, volunteer movements, entrepreneurship, and social transformations.
Khmelnytskyi National University actively supports initiatives aimed at developing women’s leadership, gender equality, and expanding opportunities for women’s professional growth and participation in public life.
The women of the university once again demonstrated that Ukrainian women’s leadership is not only about strength but also about wisdom, inspiration, care, and faith in the future of Ukraine.
