International Partnership for Change: The “3R SheLeader” Project Enters Its Final Implementation Stage

As part of the British Council’s international programme “Partnership for Gender Equality,” a strategic working meeting of the project team “3R SheLeader: Resilience, Resources, Results” was held. The event was dedicated to summarising interim results and discussing the final stage of the initiative’s implementation, which concludes in February 2026.

The working meeting enabled the international team to synchronise their efforts. Representatives of the British Council, Vita Svitlychna and Yuliia Sobol, who supervise the implementation of the grant programme in Ukraine, joined the discussion. An important part of the meeting was the contribution of the lead expert from the United Kingdom, Morag McDonald, whose experience helped adapt the best European practices to the project's needs. The university was represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Project Coordinator Kateryna Skyba, who reported on the progress of implementing the initiative at our institution.

The “3R SheLeader” project aims to develop leadership potential, support psychological resilience, and increase the effectiveness of women in academic and educational environments. During the meeting, the parties analysed in detail the current status of task implementation and assessed the efficiency of expenditures and resources ahead of the final reporting stage.

The main items on the agenda included:

  • Performance evaluation: analysis of the project’s impact on the institutional development of the university and the implementation of gender equality principles.
  • Risk management: discussion of mechanisms to minimise risks at the final stage of the project.
  • Reporting preparation: coordination of the schedule for submitting final documentation.

Participation in the “3R SheLeader” project enables our university not only to implement best European practices in gender policy, but also to strengthen international ties with leading institutions. Cooperation with the British Council confirms the university’s high status as a platform for implementing progressive social and educational initiatives.

The “3R SheLeader” project has become a powerful tool for transforming our university community. We are not only fulfilling grant obligations, but also laying the foundation for a sustainable culture of equality and leadership that will continue to operate even after the formal completion of the project.
