З 7 по 11 квітня 2025 року Людмила Ремішевська, начальник відділу міжнародних зв’язків, та Анастасія Заржицька, провідна фахівчиня відділу міжнародних зв’язків Хмельницького національного університету, взяли участь у 5-му International Staff Week, що проходив у Словацькому технічному університеті в Братиславі (STU – Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava). Цей захід об’єднав представників університетів з різних країн з метою налагодження партнерства, обміну досвідом та обговорення перспектив розвитку мобільності в межах програм Erasmus+.
Participants were introduced to the history and structure of STU, its academic programmes, scientific initiatives, and key areas of international cooperation. STU representatives shared their experience in implementing Erasmus+ projects, international credit mobility, and presented the activities of the EULiST Alliance. A special focus was placed on student support through the ESN (Erasmus Student Network) volunteer network. One of the highlights was a visit to the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava, where attendees were introduced to academic exchange opportunities and participated in discussions on the CEEPUS programme. The visit also included tours of state-of-the-art laboratories and conversations about potential collaboration in applied research.
The week featured hands-on workshops and thematic sessions that focused on improving mobility processes, the role of mentorship, and the support of international students. Special attention was given to the practical aspects of implementing international internships, with presentations by both Erasmus+ trainees and programme coordinators.
In addition to the official agenda, the programme included cultural activities that provided deeper insight into Slovak traditions. The event concluded with wrap-up meetings, discussions on future cooperation opportunities, the establishment of professional connections, and the exchange of ideas for advancing international engagement.
Participation in the International Staff Week proved to be an exceptionally valuable experience for the representatives of Khmelnytskyi National University. It not only broadened their professional horizons but also deepened their understanding of the international higher education landscape, sparked new project ideas, and strengthened partnerships with European colleagues.
