Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Khmelnytskyi National University, Kateryna Skyba, and leading specialist of the International Relations Office, Anastasiia Zarzhytska, took part in a 90-minute online event dedicated to the opportunities provided by the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies for Ukrainian higher education institutions.
The Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies is an international platform that brings together universities from around the world that either already offer or are planning to introduce courses in Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar Studies.

During the event, participants learned about:
- the opportunities for Ukrainian universities to join the initiative;
- the terms of participation for foreign universities;
- formats of collaboration between Ukrainian and international institutions.
The event was opened by:
- Yulia Dziuba, Coordinator of the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies;
- Alim Aliev, Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Institute;
- Olha Kuryshko, Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.


The first presentation on the structure and goals of the Coalition was delivered by Yulia Dziuba. This was followed by a speech from Olha Budnyk, Advisor to the President of Ukraine on the Presidential Fund for Support of Education, Science, and Sports, who outlined the mission of the initiative.
One of the most engaging moments was the presentation by Kateryna BovaProgram Coordinator, who introduced the program for engaging foreign professors to teach in Ukraine,which drew particular interest.

Participants actively asked questions, especially regarding financial aspects, which Olha Budnyk and Alim Aliev addressed.
Khmelnytskyi National University’s involvement in such initiatives is a step toward deeper integration into the international educational community and strengthening Ukraine’s voice on the global academic stage.
