On 6 January, Khmelnytskyi National University joined an international focus group as part of the development of the Women’s Leadership Development Programme in Higher Education. The event was attended by Kateryna Skyba, Chair of the Gender Equality Commission and Vice-rector for Scientific and Pedagogical work at KhNU. The meeting was held online with the participation of international experts.

The focus group aimed to gather expert insights and the practical experience of participants regarding the development of women’s leadership in Ukrainian higher education. This ensures the maximum relevance, practical value, and applied focus of the future Programme.

The meeting was moderated by Anne Rowan, a researcher from the British partner organisation Advance HE. Ms Rowan is a specialist with extensive research experience in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). The working language of the focus group was English.

Anne Rowan is an expert in mixed-methods research methodology, holds a PhD in Education, and possesses significant practical experience in implementing international research and analytical projects.
