At the beginning of February, Khmelnytskyi National University once again received essential humanitarian aid from the American Multinational Jewish Federation (AMJF). This time, the university received new portable chargers and thermal blankets, which will be invaluable resources for our university community.
These crucial donations help us maintain safety and comfort during periods when energy supply may be limited, and temperature conditions become critical for health. Portable chargers allow people to stay connected even in the absence of stable electricity, while thermal blankets provide warmth and protection from the cold in shelters.

This aid became possible thanks to the active support of Mark Siegel, President and CEO of M Siegel Associates LLC. He played a key role in organizing the collection and transportation of humanitarian aid for all participants of the Consortium of Ukrainian and Moldovan Academic Institutions (CUMAI). In his role as Director of Global Security and Resilience Projects in the Homeland Security Graduate Program at San Diego State University (SDSU), Mark makes significant efforts to strengthen international cooperation and support initiatives aimed at overcoming crisis situations. Thanks to his involvement, humanitarian aid has been provided, now playing a vital role for the university community.
Cooperation with the American Multinational Jewish Federation is an important example of international solidarity. It allows us to be better prepared for the difficult conditions faced by many Ukrainian universities. Such initiatives strengthen international ties, support the educational process, and help ensure the necessary conditions for effective work in times of instability.
Khmelnytskyi National University expresses its deep gratitude to its international partners for their support and continues to work on attracting new initiatives aimed at providing proper conditions for learning, work, and daily life. We highly appreciate the solidarity of our partners and believe that such projects strengthen our international connections and contribute to the university's development.
