On February 25, as part of an initiative by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian State Center for International Education, a meeting was held to discuss connecting educational institutions to Ukraine’s Unified Interagency Information System for Foreigners and Stateless Persons Wishing to Study at Ukrainian Educational Institutions.
During the event, Kateryna Skyba, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work at Khmelnytskyi National University, and Margarita Dziuba, Head of the Department for International Student Affairs, familiarized themselves with the key stages of implementing the Unified System and its operational algorithms. The discussion covered in detail the process of issuing electronic invitations for study, applying a qualified electronic signature, and using the educational institution’s online dashboard to manage these procedures.
Special attention was given to optimizing the system connection process. Participants received recommendations on filling in the required information online, which facilitated faster integration into the platform. University specialists received comprehensive explanations regarding all technical aspects of working within the Unified System.
A dedicated part of the program included a presentation on an upcoming training webinar focused on the platform’s functional capabilities. This event provided participants with an overview of the system’s operations. Before the webinar, registered attendees were given access to instructional videos, significantly easing their preparation for using the platform.
Thanks to the active collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ukrainian State Center for International Education, and representatives of educational institutions, an effective mechanism for connecting to the Unified System has been established. This will contribute to the development of international educational cooperation and simplify the process of attracting foreign students to Ukrainian higher education institutions.
