On May 19, an online ideas lab dedicated to Ukraine was held. The purpose of the lab was to share and discuss specific actions that the international education community can take (and in some cases already is taking) to support Ukrainian institutions and affected students and scholars.
Khmelnytskyi National University's International Relations Office staff participated in the meeting to help formulate ideas for specific actions. During the interactive lab, our experts shared their thoughts with the facilitators and other participants in breakout sessions.
The meeting was organized by the European Association for International Education which is a European center for expertise, networking and resources for the internationalization of higher education. The organization is highly concerned about the well-being of Ukrainian colleagues, students and their families, as well as the impact of the brutal war on the future of the country and its higher education system.
The European Association for International Education has promised to continue to provide a platform for discussing pressing issues and finding practical solutions for both short-term and long-term support.
