Training Visit by KhNU Lecturers to the University of Bayreuth, Germany, within the Erasmus+ EduFlex Project

From 23 to 25 September 2026, Serhii Lysenko, Olha Pavlova and Mariia Kapustian, lecturers at the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Systems at Khmelnytskyi National University (KhNU), took part in a training visit to the University of Bayreuth, Germany, as part of the international Erasmus+ EduFlex project. The meeting focused on designing flexible learning pathways and exploring the University of Bayreuth’s experience.

Over the three days, participants learnt about approaches to organising flexible learning, the university’s digital ecosystem, its quality assurance system, academic mobility, and support services for students and academic staff. The programme also included practical workshops, discussions and collaborative work in international groups.

The final day was dedicated to reviewing the results of the EduFlex project, planning the next stages of work, coordinating partner activities and disseminating the project’s outcomes. The organisers also arranged guided tours of the laboratories at the Faculty of Engineering Science and the city.

Participation in such international meetings promotes the exchange of European expertise and supports the introduction of modern approaches to organising the educational process at Khmelnytskyi National University.
