Accreditation of KhNU Educational Programmes by the International Organisation AICPA & CIMA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants & Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)

Educational programmes of Khmelnytskyi National University (KhNU) have successfully passed certification and received a certificaterecognizing KhNU as an academic partner of AICPA & CIMA, along with an official letter addressed to KhNU Rector Serhii Matiukh.

Thanks to the partnership with AICPA & CIMA, graduates of KhNU who obtain bachelor’s or master’s degrees in selected educational programmes will have the opportunity to follow an accelerated pathway to the CGMA professional qualification from CIMA, as well as participate in other loyalty programmes and grant support initiatives offered by the international professional organisation AICPA & CIMA.

The advantages of providing KhNU graduates with accelerated access to the CGMA professional qualification contribute to KhNU's recognition as one of the leading higher education institutions in Ukraine, offering high-quality, well-structured educational programmes in accounting, finance, business, and commerce. This accelerated pathway to an international qualification serves as a strong motivator for students in relevant educational programmes, especially those aiming to build careers in management accounting or finance. The partnership with AICPA & CIMA also contributes to the further development of specialisation in management accounting and financial management.

The following educational programmes have been certified:

  • Bachelor’s level programmes: D1 “Accounting and Taxation”; D2 “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market”;
  • Master’s level programmes: C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations”; D1 “Accounting and Taxation”; D2 “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market”; D3 “Management”; D5 “Marketing”; D7 “Trade”.

Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in “Accounting and Taxation” or “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” at KhNU provides exemption from eight exams required for obtaining the CGMA professional qualification from CIMA.

Obtaining a master’s degree in “Accounting and Taxation” or “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” at KhNU provides exemption from eleven exams required for obtaining the CGMA professional qualification from CIMA.

Obtaining a master’s degree in “Marketing,” “Management,” or “Trade” at KhNU provides exemption from seven exams required for obtaining the CGMA professional qualification from CIMA.
