Khmelnytskyi National University continues to actively integrate into the global educational community! On 29 October, a new Busiskills course by Businet commenced, bringing together students and lecturers from partner universities across different countries.
The course was delivered in the format of COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) – an innovative model of virtual exchange that enables students to work together on assignments, gain new experience in intercultural communication and develop global competencies without leaving their home country.
This year’s COIL theme is «Wellbeing@work». The interdisciplinary course is a vivid example of international cooperation: each week, students work in mixed international teams and take part in online lectures delivered by guest speakers from various educational and research institutions.
On 26 November 2025, Larysa Podkorytova, Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of KhNU, delivered a highly relevant and practice-oriented online lecture for students and facilitators titled: «Stress. What is it? How to manage it?»
The lecture covered the following topics:
- The concept and types of stress
- The link between stress and brain functioning
- The impact of stress on physical health and mental wellbeing
- Effective methods of overcoming and managing stress
The lecturer not only provided theoretical insights but also offered the audience psychological exercises to explore their personal stressors and resources, as well as shared practical techniques of psychological self-help. Participants engaged enthusiastically in discussions, actively completed the exercises and asked numerous questions. At the end of the event, international attendees expressed their sincere gratitude for the practical and valuable lecture.
It is worth noting that this is not the first successful COIL project involving Khmelnytskyi National University! We continue to strengthen international cooperation to offer our students and staff the best opportunities for professional and intercultural development.
