Specific Objectives:

Advancing Women's Leadership in Higher Education through:

  • Addressing key barriers faced by women,
  • Developing essential leadership skills,
  • Promoting international collaboration between the UK and Ukraine,
  • Creating long-term systemic change to foster gender equality in education.

 Project objective:

  • Study and exchange of best practices in gender equality,
  • Raising awareness and building networks for women’s leadership,
  • Engaging men as allies in achieving gender equality,
  • Empowering women with leadership skills through the "3R" model,
  • Developing and strengthening gender equality policies.

What does the project involve?

  • Implementation of training programmes and conferences, including SheLeadership,
  • Development of a leadership training curriculum based on the "3R" model,
  • Conducting gender equality surveys,
  • Designing gender-sensitive policies,
  • International cooperation between higher education institutions in Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

Expected results:

  • Increased awareness among women in higher education about their leadership potential,
  • Establishment of a network of women leaders,
  • Active engagement of men in gender equality initiatives,
  • Implementation of the "3Rs Leadership Training" programme,
  • Creation of gender-responsive policies.

Target Audience:

Women working in the field of higher education, particularly in Ukraine and the UK; male leaders and scholars who can serve as allies in advancing gender equality.

International Partners:

Bangor University, United Kingdom – the lead partner responsible for training, providing gender equality strategies, and organising conferences.
