On November 27, a pre-kick-off meeting of project partners took place ReGrow, which brought together all participants, including representatives of the Khmelnytskyi National University, to get to know each other, discuss the main tasks and plan the implementation of key work packages. The ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE ReGrow project is aimed at restoring growth in the agricultural sector of Ukraine after the end of the war and during the transition period in Georgia.
The meeting started with a welcome speech and an overview of the key objectives of the project, presented by the project coordinator, Professor Anastasios Michailidis and the project officer of the European Commission, Xavier Flaman.
The participants presented their roles in the project and the teams involved in its implementation. Also, each representative shared interesting facts about himself, which contributed to the establishment of partnership relations in the community. The presentation of the Khmelnytskyi National University and project participants from the university was conducted by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Pedagogy, Prof. Skiba K.M. The participants of the project are also PhD, Prof., Professor of the Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural Engineering V.P. Oleksandrenko, Head of the Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural Engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Assoc. Martyniuk A.V. and Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural Engineering, PhD. Borys M.M.
The participants actively discussed the preparations for the official kick-off meeting, which will take place later, and also shared their visions for the next steps.
Project ReGrow will last 36 months and is implemented with the support of the program Erasmus+. It is aimed at restoring and modernizing the agricultural sector by creating innovative educational programs, analyzing needs and implementing modern approaches to precision agriculture.
