Kateryna Skiba, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Khmelnytskyi National University, has successfully completed her participation in the THEA Ukraine X Cohort III project. The project aimed to develop the professional development of university management representatives and promote the active implementation of internationalization in the educational process. The project lasted from February to August 2024 and included a series of face-to-face meetings, trainings, many interesting and fruitful discussions, and many activities that promoted networking.
On September 3, 2024, a solemn closing meeting was held, during which certificates were virtually awarded to all participants of the third cohort of the THEA Ukraine X project.
Kateryna Skiba participated in THEA Ukraine X as a tandem trainer and contributed to enriching discussions aimed at promoting international cooperation and sharing best practices in higher education. Her teammate was Olha Rekita, International Academic Affairs Manager at the Ukrainian Catholic University. Together, they presented a project to develop the internationalization of the faculty.
Participation in the THEA Ukraine X project provided an opportunity to get acquainted with new aspects of internationalization, learn effective ways to manage international projects, and contribute to the development of partnerships with Ukrainian and foreign universities. The experience and knowledge gained will be implemented at Khmelnytskyi National University and contribute to its internationalization.
We are grateful to our partners and colleagues at the University of Applied Sciences in Munster and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for supporting such projects and look forward to further fruitful cooperation.
