On December 20, 2023, Kateryna Skyba, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Khmelnytskyi National University, participated in an important event - the meeting of the Council of Vice-Rectors for International Cooperation. The event took place in the context of collaboration between higher education institutions in Ukraine and aimed to discuss issues related to international activities.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing important issues, including the participants' review of the outcomes of the meeting in the city of Poznań. They also agreed on the directions for further work of the Council and identified strategic issues for cooperation between universities.
Also, the head of the Department for Work with Foreign Students at Khmelnytskyi National University, Margaryta Dziuba, participated in the meeting. An important aspect of the meeting was the presentation by the Director of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian State Center for International Education," Candidate of Historical Sciences, Olena Shapovalova, who provided detailed information on issues related to the education of foreign students in Ukraine.
The main topics of discussion at the meeting included issues and prospects for the development of the internationalization strategy, international academic mobility, grant activities, as well as recruitment and education of foreign students. Participants of the meeting emphasized the peculiarities of cooperation with alliances of European universities and representation of universities in international network organizations.
