Within the framework of cooperation between Khmelnytskyi National University and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland) and with the initiative and support of Kateryna Skyba, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Khmelnytskyi National University, the possibility of studying under double degree programmes in Polish Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy (Department of Slavic Philology) of KhNU and the Faculty of Polish and Classical Studies of AMU have been discussed.
The Master's and Bachelor's degree programs offered by the Department of Slavic Philology at Khmelnytskyi National University were reviewed, including "Philology: Slavic Languages and Literatures (Translation Included), First Language - Polish" (Master's degree), "Polish Language and Literature, Second Language - English" (Bachelor's degree), "Secondary Education (Languages and Literature - Polish, Ukrainian)" (Bachelor's degree); and "Polish Studies for International Students" (Bachelor's and Master's degrees) at AMU. The focus was to compare the disciplines taught at both universities, their content, credits, and to discuss the possibility of transferring specific courses, and aligning matters related to the theoretical and practical aspects of both institutions.
Khmelnytskyi National University (Ukraine) and Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland) signed agreements or double degree programs.
The participating institutions have decided to collaborate in implementing the double degree program in Polish Studies. Students participants in the program will have the opportunity to simultaneously study Polish Studies specialities at Khmelnytskyi National University and Adam Mickiewicz University according to the agreed curriculum for the Bachelor's or Master's degree. Upon completing the program, participants will receive two diplomas, one from each participating institution.
The education under the double degree programs will starts in the 2023-2024 academic year!
