This year, for the first time, Ukraine celebrates Europe Day with the European Union on 9 May as a candidate country for EU membership.
We are part of the family of European states with shared values and aspirations, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine stand firmly in defence of the entire Free Europe, in defence of our Ukrainian identity! The European Union has been united in solidarity and support for Ukraine in all dimensions since the first days of russia's full-scale invasion.
