{"id":8807,"date":"2026-10-07T11:42:14","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T08:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iro.khmnu.edu.ua\/?p=8807"},"modified":"2026-10-12T12:09:00","modified_gmt":"2026-10-12T09:09:00","slug":"stalyj-rozvytok-u-diyi-hnu-pidnyavsya-na-120-pozyczij-u-svitovomu-rejtyngu-ui-greenmetric-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iro.khmnu.edu.ua\/en\/stalyj-rozvytok-u-diyi-hnu-pidnyavsya-na-120-pozyczij-u-svitovomu-rejtyngu-ui-greenmetric-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Sustainable Development in Action: KhNU Climbs 120 Places in the UI GreenMetric World Rankings 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khmelnytskyi National University has once again been included in the <strong>UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026<\/strong>, improving its position among universities worldwide and in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>According to the rankings, KhNU placed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1307th worldwide<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>18th among Ukrainian universities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Compared with the 2025 results, when KhNU ranked 1427th worldwide and 22nd among Ukrainian higher education institutions, the University has climbed <strong>120 places in the global rankings and 4 places among Ukrainian universities.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UI GreenMetric World University Rankings<\/strong> is an international ranking launched by the University of Indonesia in 2010. It assesses the contribution of higher education institutions to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The ranking focuses on universities\u2019 policies and practical measures to make their campuses greener, manage resources and integrate environmental research into the educational process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KhNU\u2019s participation in UI GreenMetric is part of the University\u2019s ongoing efforts to develop a sustainable and environmentally responsible educational environment.
