On 4 December, Khmelnytskyi National University hosted a ceremony to present certificates to participants of the training series implemented within the international project \u201c3R SheLeader: Resilience, Resourcefulness, Results\u201d. The initiative is carried out in partnership with Bangor University (Wales) and supported by the British Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certificates were awarded to participants who completed all three training sessions and demonstrated consistent engagement in developing their leadership potential and professional competencies.<\/p>\n\n\n

The ceremony opened with welcoming remarks by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Kateryna Skyba. She emphasised that the 3R SheLeader project creates opportunities for women seeking professional growth and greater involvement in the development of the university community. According to her, the combination of resilience, resourcefulness and results shapes an approach essential for modern women leaders to support teams and drive change within professional communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rector of Khmelnytskyi National University, Serhii Matiukh, expressed his gratitude to the participants for their motivation and active involvement. He emphasised that the development of women\u2019s leadership and the promotion of gender equality principles are integral to the university\u2019s strategic priorities. He noted that the active participation of women in governance and decision-making processes contributes to innovation, inclusivity and the overall strengthening of the academic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n

A special element of the event was the screening of a video message from the project partners at Bangor University. Professor Morag McDonald, Dean of the College of Science and Engineering and Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion (and lead coordinator of the Athena Swan programme) at Bangor University, congratulated the participants on completing the programme and expressed appreciation for the productive cooperation. She highlighted the importance of knowledge exchange between Ukraine and the United Kingdom, the value of resilience and creativity in developing modern women leaders, and expressed hope for further strengthening of the partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 3R SheLeader project aims to support and develop women\u2019s leadership in higher education. Its purpose is to create a space for acquiring new knowledge, exchanging experiences, building professional networks and developing skills essential for the work of a contemporary woman leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training programme covered three key areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Resourcefulness \u2013 developing inner resources, emotional intelligence and effective communication;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Resultfulness \u2013 building management, strategic thinking and achievement-oriented leadership skills;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Resilience \u2013 acting with confidence, maintaining stability and staying motivated in challenging circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All three training sessions contributed to a deeper understanding of the participants\u2019 own potential, enhanced their professional confidence and strengthened the community of women leaders within the university environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the training series has concluded, the mentoring programme \u2014 one of the key components of the initiative \u2014 continues. It provides personalised support and guidance from Bangor University experts and plays an important role in reinforcing the participants\u2019 leadership capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
