Khmelnytskyi National University Students Participate in International Student Conference \"Water and the Baltic Cities: Building Climate Resilience\" in Tallinn<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From April 22\u201326, 2025, Master's students from Khmelnytskyi National University\u2014Zoriana Chereshnia (majoring in \"Chemical Technologies and Engineering\") and Valeriia Shvaiko (majoring in \"Computer Engineering\")\u2014participated in the International Student Conference \"Water and the Baltic Cities: Building Climate Resilience.\" The conference took place at Tallinn University (Estonia) as part of the Baltic University Program (BUP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference united students, scholars, and young professionals from over ten European countries to explore the role of urban water systems in the context of climate change and sustainable development. The program included lectures by leading researchers, workshops, field trips to Tallinn's water sites (Kopli Peninsula, P\u00e4\u00e4sk\u00fcla bog, Loovensruhu Park), and active discussions on modern environmental practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special highlight was the \"Culture Party\" intercultural event, where participants presented national dishes, dances, music, languages, and traditional clothing. This fostered friendly connections among representatives from various countries and a deeper understanding of cultural diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concluding stage was the BUP Student Parliament session, during which participants discussed the development of the program's student community and elected new representatives to the international council. Valeriia Shvaiko served as a member of the electoral commission, ensuring the transparency of the election process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Zoriana Chereshnia emphasised that participating in the conference was a significant step for her professional and personal development. Valeriia Shvaiko shared that the trip was rich in new knowledge and connections, expressing hope for similar opportunities in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Khmelnytskyi National University will continue to actively support and expand opportunities for academic mobility, engaging more students in international conferences, scientific events, and educational initiatives.
