Support for Ukraine during the ongoing war\u2014now entering its third year\u2014extends far beyond humanitarian aid. International cooperation in the field of education has become a vital avenue for rebuilding and reforming Ukraine\u2019s higher education system. In this context, the partnership between Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144 and Ukrainian institutions, particularly Khmelnytskyi National University, stands as a strong example of solidarity and mutual support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 24, 2025, Adam Mickiewicz University published a significant compilation titled \u201cSupport from Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144 for the Reform of Higher Education in Ukraine.\u201d This publication documents the university\u2019s collaboration with Ukrainian counterparts and outlines dozens of initiatives carried out over the past two years, including academic exchange programs, summer schools, conferences, and various forms of support for Ukrainian students and scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooperation with Khmelnytskyi National University is especially noteworthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2023, 20 students and 17 faculty members from KhNU have participated in training programs and conferences hosted in Pozna\u0144. The events have addressed topics such as educational innovation, international collaboration, and the development of scientific research. Additionally, more than seven students have completed a semester of study at Adam Mickiewicz University\u2014an invaluable academic experience for all involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cWe remember the day the full-scale war began, when the Russian Federation launched its attack on Ukraine. Since then, our hearts and minds have remained open to supporting the Ukrainian people. Solidarity is a powerful weapon against evil, and we are doing all we can to stand by our friends in Ukraine,\u201d said Rafa\u0142 Witkowski, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Adam Mickiewicz University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Khmelnytskyi National University has been an active supporter of these initiatives. The collaboration between the two universities is a testament to how education can serve as a bridge between nations and help preserve and strengthen academic potential in times of crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adam Mickiewicz University continues to set an example of true solidarity and unwavering support for Ukraine\u2019s efforts to rebuild its education system. Khmelnytskyi National University remains committed to enhancing its academic mission and, together with international partners, laying the foundation for long-term development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solidarity, support, and cooperation are the shared values that unite Khmelnytskyi National University and Adam Mickiewicz University. And it is through these values that Ukraine will navigate its path toward recovery and prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feedback from summer school participants is also being collected and compiled.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
